Brand Identity: Continuity Is Key

In exhibit design, nothing is more important than creating a trade show display that fits in unison with the client’s entire visual brand, from the logo, all the way down to the letterhead. Everything should be complimentary of the brand, and create a single, memorable look and feel, which becomes instantly recognizable as your own.

When planning began for the 2015 HOST show, the first design objective was to think outside of the box to develop an exhibit stand that would function as a strong social marketing platform that could still function in a sales-centric manner for Ice-O-Matic. To create such a stunning architectural exhibit design, PG Exhibits knew they needed a multi-pronged approach: empowering graphics, centralized hospitality and engaging yet refined product placement were just the right answers.

By designing the trade show exhibit space with these essential elements in mind, all three areas of the exhibit could act a story-telling channel for the attendees to better understand the Ice-O-Matic brand. The empowering graphics, grabbed attention from the attendees from aisles away, drawing them into the booth. The hospitality area conveyed a sense of approachability that connected the audience in a way that would act as an experiential marketing element to the clientele. The strategically placed products were specifically given room to “breathe” as not to smother the attendee, yet use their own faculties see Ice-O-Matic’s unmatched quality and reputation in the marketplace, elevating their brand.

All elements, working in conjunction with one another as a cohesively designed unit allowed for the Ice-O-Matic team to receive 288 leads in 2015, nearly a 300% increase from 2013, where they only received 74 leads. Because of the success of the 2015 HOST show, Ice- O-Matic knew they needed to re-brand their domestic exhibits structures to do the same, and PG Exhibits was the partner to do just that.

As you will see in the examples on this page, their current US touring booth is built for modularity while still maintaining the overarching goal of having a trade show booth display designed to fit their new social marketing platform that took off from the HOST show in 2015. With a clean design aesthetic, vast open spaces, and touches of wood tones for warmth, this structure exudes the Ice-O- Matic brand.
